I clicked on an old quickbooks file the other day and my Internet shut down, windows started popping up like crazy and now I'm getting over hits on my AVG scans for viruses everytime I run it. I can't do anything without AVG popping up an "accessed file is infected" warning. Threat Detected! EXE Infected: Virus. It has done this 1 time s. I didn't run it at this time, since maybe the above information and computer access possibilities might provide you with a different available alternative.
If need be, I will run it again. I have run both hijack this and DrWeb. I saved the logs to a flash drive from the affected computer.
